The Buildings
The complex is bordered by Bridge End to the west, Walumetta Drive to the North and Gas Works Road (Wondakiah complex) to the east.
The 48 Strata Plan dwellings are contained within five individual buildings — A to E — spread across a network of roads, pathways and gardens, with six separate foyer entrances and 16 individual entrances.
Buildings A and E, located on Bridge End, are made up of townhouses. Buildings B, C and D contain apartments.
Construction on the Strata Plan apartments commenced around 1988 and was completed around 1992.
Location & Access
Villiers is located at 1–11 Bridge End in Wollstonecraft, and is a gated community with pedestrian access at the North Gate, the West Gate and the East Gate at the main vehicle entrance. Vehicular access and exit occurs at the main vehicle entrance gates off Walumetta Drive.
Conveniently located, Villiers is a short walk from Wollstonecraft Station with easy access to the shops and cafes in Waverton, Crows Nest Village, North Sydney and Sydney CBD.
Facilities
Villiers offers resort-style amenities for residents, including a swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, tennis court, and a meeting and library room. An on-site Building Manager is available to assist with day-to-day needs.
The Villiers Strata Plan also shares the site with 16 Torrens Title townhouses along the southern edge of the main driveway. These townhouses are not part of the Villiers strata, however under the terms of an Easement Instrument, they do have access to the Pool, Gymnasium, Sauna, Gymnasium Bathrooms and Tennis Court.
